In a tragic turn of events in Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh, a young woman named Himanshi, who had recently married her partner Vineet through a court procedure, was found dead in a car, stirring family tensions and accusations.
Himanshi, originally from Bahsuma in Meerut, married Vineet in a court ceremony and had been staying at her maternal uncle’s home in Khatauli, Muzaffarnagar, as she awaited a traditional wedding ceremony, planned for three days later. The couple intended to complete the Hindu ritual of pheras to solidify their union.
On the morning of the incident, police arrived near Rasulpur Kailaura village around 9:30 a.m. after receiving reports of a body found in a car. Authorities identified the deceased as Himanshi. Preliminary findings indicated escalating family conflicts following her court marriage, which had reportedly caused tension among relatives.
Himanshi’s family claims that her maternal uncle is implicated in her death. Her husband, Vineet, filed an FIR naming the uncle as a suspect, suggesting financial motives behind the alleged crime. The complaint mentions that the uncle might have been interested in her assets, worth around ₹50 lakh.
Police are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding Himanshi’s death, as the family’s conflict has intensified. The community remains shocked by the incident, urging a fair investigation to uncover the truth.
