Moosewala’s case accused caught with phone in jail

Slain Singer Sidhu Moosewala assassination case’s one of the main accused, Monu Dagar, who was kept in High security zone in Faridkot jail, has now been caught with using Android phone inside the Jail. He used to make extortion calls to people and recently had demanded ransom money from a Rohtak based Transporter and also fired at transporter for not giving ransom.

According to the information, 14 mobiles were found including Dagar during sudden checking in the jail. A case has been registered against those from whom mobiles have been recovered.

Gangster Monu Dagar, a close aide of Lawrence Bishnoi has given a call to Haryana Truck union head and threatened him to give share of his business. Two days ago the Rohtak police arrested two associates of Monu Dagar.Phones were also found in Bathinda and Patiala jailSenior officials are concerned over the involvement of Jail employees for providing Mobiles and other facilities to these gangsters and investigation is going on. There have been cases of recovering mobile phones from the gangsters kept in Patiala, Bathinda and Nabha Jail.

Gangster Monu Dagar, a resident of Revali village of Sonipat, is associated with the Lawrence gang. He is also accused of firing on the deputy mayor of Moga on December 1, 2021. On which the Moga police arrested him. Then Moga’s SP Surendrajit had told reporters that Lawrence gang’s sharp shooter Monu had come to kill the deputy mayor’s brother on the behest of Goldie Brar living in Canada. Also he told that he is also an accused in the murder of Rana Kandowalia in Amritsar.
