Ahead of the swearing-in ceremony of the new government at Rashtrapati Bhavan, posters of ‘Modi 3.0’ were displayed at the BJP Maharashtra party office in Mumbai.
Narendra Modi is set to take oath as the Prime Minister for the third consecutive term. Earlier today, Modi hosted a high tea at his 7, Lok Kalyan Marg residence in the national capital before the grand swearing-in ceremony.
Various BJP leaders including Nirmala Sitharaman, Sarbananda Sonowal, Piyush Goyal, S Jaishankar, Dharmendra Pradhan, and RLD Chief Jayant Singh Chaudhary attended the tea meeting at 7, Lok Kalyan Marg. Telangana BJP president G Kishan Reddy and party leader Bandi Sanjay arrived together at the meeting.
Other leaders such as Jyotiraditya Scindia, Manohar Lal Khattar, Raksha Khadse, Nityanand Rai, Harsh Malhotra Bhagirath Choudhary, and JDS leader HD Kumaraswamy were also seen arriving at the Prime Minister’s residence this morning.
PM Modi is scheduled to take the oath of office at 7.15 pm today along with his council of ministers. The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) unanimously passed a resolution to elect Narendra Modi as their leader on June 5.
Delhi Police have deployed around 1,100 traffic police personnel and issued an advisory for the traffic movement route arrangements for the ceremony. Security arrangements for the event include NSG commandos, drones, and snipers at Rashtrapati Bhavan.
PM Modi’s swearing-in ceremony has also invited several leaders and state heads from neighboring regions and the Indian Ocean region as distinguished guests, highlighting India’s ‘Neighbourhood First’ policy.
