Mentally ill woman fatally stabs mother-in-law

In a shocking and violent outburst, the accused suddenly turned on her elderly mother-in-law, Taradevi, wielding a sharp weapon with fatal intent. She inflicted grievous harm on the defenseless woman, mercilessly slitting her throat and subjecting her to multiple stab wounds, according to the official account.
Residents residing nearby became aware of the distressing situation and swiftly alerted the local police. Responding to the call, law enforcement officials promptly dispatched the victim’s body for a post-mortem examination, shedding further light on the tragedy.
In light of this horrifying incident, a case has been registered against the accused woman under section 302 (murder) of the Indian Penal Code, as confirmed by the official statement.
