Mayawati’s Niece Claims Husband Is Impotent, In-Laws Demanded Child Through Brother-in-Law

A shocking case has emerged involving Alice, the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) supremo and former chief minister Mayawati’s niece. Alice has made serious allegations against her in-laws, accusing them of pressuring her to have physical relations with her brother-in-law to conceive a child. She claims that her husband, Vishal, is impotent and alleges that her father-in-law, Shripal, and brother-in-law, Bhupendra (alias Monu), attempted to sexually assault her.

The Allegations

The victim’s parents live in Bank Colony in the Kotwali area of Hapur. Alice has allegedly filed several complaints with the local police and the Superintendent of Police, but no action was initiated formally. A case was filed only after an intervention by a court against the accused, including her husband, Vishal. Alice married Vishal on November 9, 2023, in an apparently normal union. Her mother-in-law, Pushpa, is also the chairperson of the Hapur Municipal Council, and her father-in-law, Shripal, happens to be an influential BSP leader.

Soon after the wedding, Alice’s in-laws reportedly started demanding dowry, which was an apartment and 50 lakh rupees. She reported that her husband, who had undergone steroid injections for bodybuilding, became impotent due to it, forcing him to live away from her. Following this, Alice reported that her in-laws compelled her to engage in relations with her brother-in-law to give birth to a child.

Physical Abuse and Sexual Assault Attempts

On February 17, 2025, Alice complained that her father-in-law and brother-in-law beat her mercilessly and tried to sexually assault her. In spite of her complaints to the police, things only got worse, as authorities allegedly declined to file an FIR. On March 18, Alice spoke to her family about her experience, leading them to go to her in-laws’ residence and bring her to the police station. Still, the police declined to act.

Court Intervention and Registration of Case

Disgusted with the police’s failure to respond, Alice approached the Superintendent of Police on March 21, 2025, but again to no avail. Alice finally went to the court, which directed the police to register a case. Consequently, a complaint was registered against the accused, namely Alice’s husband, his parents, and other relatives.

The case has now gained wide attention, and the authorities have come under pressure to take suitable action.
