Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann was rushed to Fortis Hospital Mohali on Sunday afternoon after his blood pressure reportedly shot up, sources said. He was in Dhuri at the time and was immediately taken for medical attention.

Mann had earlier attended Mahashivratri events in Sangrur and was accompanied by Arvind Kejriwal before leaving for Chandigarh. He was scheduled to visit Fazilka later in the day, but the programme was cancelled due to his sudden health concerns. A planned press conference was also called off at the last minute.

According to sources, the Chief Minister reached the hospital around 3.20 pm, where a team of doctors began examining him. Further details about his condition were awaited.
