Major reshuffling in Haryana’s top bureaucracy, 44 IAS Officers Transferred

In a first major reshuffling in the top bureaucracy, the Nayab Singh Saini led BJP government in Haryana has transferred 44 IAS officers.

As per the late night orders Sumita Misra, a 1990-batch IAS, has been appointed as the new Home Secretary as she has been posted as ACS Home, Jails, CID.

Anurag Rastogi, who had been given charge of Chief Secretary for three days, has been posted as new Financial Commissioner, Revenue. He would continue to hold the charge of ACS, Finance, as well.
While, another senior IAS officer
Apoorva K Singh would be the new ACS, Town and Country Planning and Urban Estates Department, in addition to holding the charge of Energy.
Meanwhile, the1991-batch officer, Ashok Khemka has been posted as ACS, Transport Department. Khemka is considered close to Transport Minister Anil Vij.

Whereas, ACS, Health, Sudhir Rajpal, has additionally been given Medical Education and Research and Ayush Department, ACS Forests and Wildlife, Anand Mohan Sharan, has been given Food and Civil Supplies department as well.

Rajiv Ranjan would hold the charge of Principal Secretary, Labour, in addition to his present duties while Vijay Singh Dahiya has been posted as Commissioner and Secretary, printing and Stationery, and Animal Husbandry.

Similarly, Vineet Garg will be ACS, Higer Education Department, D Suresh as been posted as Principal Secretary, Industries and Commerce, Shyamal Mishra, would be the new CEO, Faridabad Metropolitan Development Authority and Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority as also the Principal Secretary, Civil Aviation Department.

Mohd. Shayin has been posted as Commissioner and Secretary, Housing for All and Public Health and Amit Kumar Aggarwal would be Commissioner and Secretary, Development and Panchayat, Public Relations and Foreign Cooperation Department.

D Suresh, Principal Secretary, Higher Education, has been posted as Principal Secretary, Industries and Commerce, while Ashima Brar, Secretary of SEWA Department, will look after Excise and Taxation besides brief MD of the Haryana Vidyut Parsharan Nigam.

Whereas, Prashant Panwar, Deputy Commissioner Nuh has been shifted as SEWA Director and Vinay Pratap Singh would be Administrator, Trade Fair Authority of India.
Also Sanjeev Verma, currently posted as Divisional Commissioners, Rohtak Division, would be Director General, Sports Department. Geeta Bharti, Divisional Commissioner, Ambala Division, would be Secretary, Home- 1 and Home-2.
