Late last night, Grenade attack broke windows, raised security concerns for police station at Majitha in Amritsar, as Babbar Khalsa International, has now owned the responsibility by putting a social media post claiming Happy Passia, Gopi Nawanshahria and Jeewan Fauji were behind this dastardly attack.

This is a part of a series of retaliatory operations against Punjab Police and the government for running ‘goonda raj’ against Sikhs. Larger operations will follow. The fight is ongoing,,” said the group in a post.
Police deny the grenade attack claim
The police initially attributed the explosion to a tyre burst near the gate of the station. However, Babbar Khalsa’s claim contradicts this narrative and raises questions about the incident. The police still stand by their earlier explanation despite the revelation on social media.
Chain of Explosions in Amritsar
This attack is the second such attack in police facilities in Amritsar within six days. A blast occurred on November 29 at the Gurbaksh Nagar police post, which had already been closed before the attack. Earlier, on November 23-24, an IED was planted outside the Ajnala police station.
The investigations are in place as the authorities remain alert. The security has been tightened in the region.
