Mahakumbh 2025’s final holy dip (Shahi Snan) will be on February 26. Devotees all over the world prepare for this holy dip on this sacred event. Although the grand Maha Kumbh Mela 2025 started on January 13, it is going to conclude on Maha Shivratri.

Shivratri always falls on Chaturdashi of Krishna Paksha of the month of Falgun. This last show bath is meant to take place at the Triveni Sangam, where the holy rivers of the Ganga, Saraswati, and Yamuna converge. With the last day of the event on February 26 to see thousands of devotees take the holy dip, this completes the spiritual aspect of the fair.

Last ‘Shahi Snan’ Details

According to the Vedic calendar, Maha Shivratri, a prominent festival for the devotees of Lord Shiva, will start on February 26 at 11:08 AM and continue till the next day, February 27, at 08:54 AM. The last Shahi Snan of Mahakumbha 2025 will be performed on the last day on February 26, thus allowing pilgrims to purify themselves of their sins and attain enlightenment.

This ritual bath is supposed to be in Triveni Sangam in Prayagraj, where millions of devotees, sadhus, and spiritual leaders will gather for this ceremony. The belief is that taking a dip into the sacred waters during Brahma Muhurta, especially at Triveni Sangam, grants great benefits and saves them from the consequences of previous karma.

While Brahma Muhurta is the best time for taking a bath, on Maha Shivratri, pilgrims can take a dip at any time. The spiritual surrounding with Saints and Sages makes the final day of Maha Kumbh an unforgettable experience for all participants.

Another Shubh Muhurat for the Last Holy Dip is Brahma Muhurta from 05:09 AM  to 06:59 AM. Twilight time is from 06:16 PM  to 06:42 PM, and Nishita Muhurta’s time is from 12:09 AM to 12:59 AM. The last royal bath opens up one of the largest sacred melees.
