Madhya Pradesh Home Minister calls Kamal Nath ‘accidental leader’

Assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh are scheduled to take place later this year, so the war of words between the BJP and Congress has escalated.

Madhya Pradesh Home Minister  Narottam Mishra attacked veteran Congress leader Kamal Nath regarding his statement that he needs talented workers, not MLAs.

He further added that Kamal Nath, who can’t respect his MLAs, values his party leader, Rahul Gandhi? He is a leader by accident who emerged during the emergency period. “In a democracy, voters send MLAs to the assembly to give voice to their needs and demands,” he said.

The leader of Opposition in the assembly, Govind Singh, lashed out at Mishra over his remarks against Kamal Nath.  “Nath is not an accidental leader. He has been a Member of Parliament (MP) for around 40 years. “How can he be an accidental leader?”

Hailing Prime Minister Narendra Modi as a global leader, Mishra said, “PM Modi received a 76 percent approval rating as a global leader, which is a matter of pride for all of us.” It was good news for every Indian. “Our top leader is so capable that his name is ringing out from the global stage.”

Sharing details about the Mukhyamantri Ladli Bahna Yojana, he said, “It is a very good scheme, and over 47 lakh registrations have been done so far.” It is believed that this figure will cross 50 lakh by today. “This scheme will fetch us good results in the coming days.”
