In a tragic accident, five people died in the Maharajpura area of Gwalior district in Madhya Pradesh after an out-of-control Fortuner car collided with a tractor.
The unfortunate incident took place early morning today on the highway near Malwa College. The details have been given by Gwalior CSP Hina Khan.
Around 6:00 to 6:30 AM today, the control room received a report of an accident that happened on the highway near Malwa College, in which a car and a tractor were involved.
CSP Khan explained in more detail that all the victims were five friends who were traveling together. They were returning, it is believed, from Dabra when the accident occurred.
It is not as yet clear what happened to make the Fortuner "uncontrolled," but the impact that the two vehicles experienced could only have been a result of some catastrophic event.
The five bodies of the young friends were recovered from the site and were sent to the district hospital for post-mortem examinations.
This is a normal course of action for the police to confirm the cause of death and establish the identity of the victims.

Police quickly converged on the scene. Officers were on the scene and confirmed the terrible news that five people were inside the vehicle and no one survived the impact of the car.
