Shocking Footage Captures the Incident

A video shared by journalist Sanjay Tripathi on X shows the Hyundai car speeding along a flyover, sparks flying as the scooty remained lodged in the car’s bonnet. Despite desperate attempts by fellow commuters to signal the driver to stop, the car continued moving unstoppably through the city roads. The video highlights the intensity of the collision, which left the two-wheeler severely damaged.

Injuries and Police Intervention

The scooty riders sustained serious injuries and were rushed to CHC Hospital in Mohanlalganj for treatment. Lucknow Police quickly responded to the widely circulated footage, confirming that both vehicles involved in the incident had been seized.

Driver Arrested

The car driver, identified as Chandra Prakash, a resident of Prayagraj, has been arrested in connection with the incident. Local reports indicate that he was driving at a high speed when the accident occurred, raising questions about reckless driving and road safety in the city.
