In a move impacting consumers ahead of the festive season, oil marketing companies have increased the price of 19-kg commercial LPG cylinders by Rs 48.50, effective October 1. This adjustment brings the cost of a 19-kg LPG cylinder in Delhi to Rs 1,740, up from the previous price of Rs 1,691.50.
Additionally, the price of 5-kg Free Trade LPG cylinders has also seen an increase, rising by Rs 12.
This latest hike marks the third consecutive monthly increase in the price of 19-kg LPG cylinders, totaling Rs 94 over the past three months. The continuous rise in LPG prices raises concerns for businesses and consumers alike, especially as the festive season approaches.
