‘LoP doing his duty with all his heart’: CWC member

Former MP, ex-finance minister and a Congress Working Committee (CWC) member Tariq Hamid Karra, talking about the changing dynamics of national politics, said that the coming time is the era of Rahul Gandhi as increasing number of people are listening to him.
Talking to the The Daily Guardian, Karra said, “When Rahul Gandhi went to Manipur, he saw that people need solution and action from the double engine government of BJP which has become disfunct, he did not politicise it and also did not call the government emotionless and oppressive, but requested to the leaders in power to take care of our fellow countrymen.”
Karra added, “Rahul Gandhi has been the one man army in fracturing the arrogance of ruling party. Despite a malicious image being created of him by Media backed by saffron brigade, he was not worried about his image but his focus was to protect the country’s institutions.”
Karra also said, “He is someone in the entire Indian politics who talks about the most important matters of our economy like empowerment of masses. On the contrary, the ruling camp is busy in enriching their corporate friends. It is important that the public knows the growth trajectory of its nation. Rahul Gandhi has been a statesman in sensitising people and making them realise how the most important levers of Indian economy, farmers and local businesses, are being pulled down by the ruling party.”
Karra said, “There are three important things needed for a nation to prosper, education, infrastructure and Justice and Rahul Gandhi is the only one who believes in it and fights for it than pursuing political power.
He is showing unmatchable efforts to protect the education system of the country.
He has shown millions of students, who have unfortunately suffered from the education scam of the government, he is standing beside them.”
Karra also said, “We see him as the first person in the twenty first century who had a natural drive to run a movement for the unity of people of India called Bharat Jodo Yatra, the Yatra which was to spread peace in the times of chaos perpetrated by the ruling party.

He is someone with the clean history, someone who has always tried to hold the hands of poor, needy and suppressed. The political leaders close to him have always found him someone who takes decisions keeping the interests of people in mind and not to play politics. He is representing the role of LoP with all his heart.”
