Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Executive Officer Anil Kumar Singhal has been transferred. The state government has issued orders appointing Muddada Ravichandra as the new TTD Executive Officer, giving him additional charge of the post. Ravichandra is currently the Principal Secretary in the Chief Minister’s Office. Anil Kumar Singhal has been directed to report to the General Administration Department (GAD). Singhal, a 1993 batch IAS officer, previously served as TTD Executive Officer from May 6, 2017, to October 4, 2020. This was his second stint as TTD Executive Officer after returning from central deputation. He assumed charge as TTD Executive Officer for the second time in September last year.

Recently, the Special Investigation Team (SIT) wrote a letter to the government recommending disciplinary action against the then and current TTD Executive Officer Anil Kumar Singhal, the then Additional Executive Officer Dharma Reddy, and the Financial Advisor and Chief Accounts Officer (FA & CAO) Balaji, in connection with the supply of adulterated ghee to the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) during the YSRCP government’s tenure. Following this, the government transferred Executive Officer Anil Kumar Singhal. Orders to this effect have been issued. The SIT, which had filed a charge sheet in court regarding the ghee case, recently wrote a 14-page letter to the government. In the last paragraph of the letter, it recommended that the government take action against the three officers who held high positions at the time, in connection with the supply of adulterated ghee.
