Kuwait Fire Incident: Most Victims Passed Away In Their Sleep After Inhaling Smoke

Making a chilling revelation regarding the Kuwait fire building, officials recently revealed, that many individuals, who were trapped inside the building passed away in their sleep due to hazardous smoke inhalation.

Later, the officials confirmed that out of 190 trapped workers, 49 were dead and 50 were injured.

Meanwhile, among the deceased, several people belonging to the state of Kerala were severely injured, reporting 24 casualties from the state. In addition, Tamil Nadu Minister for minority welfare and non-resident welfare KS Masthan also announced, that around 5 people from the state died in the fire incident.

Earlier on Thursday, Union minister of state for External Affairs Kirti Vardhan Singh visited Kuwait and reached Jaber hospital to meet injured Indians and ask about their well-being.

Later, the union minister also visited Al Kabeer hospital, where he met 7 injured Indians and assured them of support from the government.

Earlier, External Affairs minister S Jaishankar interacted with his Kuwaiti counterpart Abdullah Ali Al Yahya and during their interaction, he urged for the early repatriation of remains as soon as possible.

What Exactly Happened?

In the early hours of Wednesday, a deadly fire engulfed Mangaf, which is situated in the Ahmadi Governorate of southern Kuwait, where many foreign workers reside. As a result, it claimed the lives of 49 individuals, who were mostly Indians.
