Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is scheduled to visit the Darbar Sahib in Punjab on Thursday, marking his first visit since his interim bail in the Delhi excise policy case. This visit comes after a joint press conference held earlier in the day with Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav.

In a statement on ‘X’, Kejriwal expressed his plans to visit the Darbar Sahib, Durgiana temple, and Ram Tirtha, emphasizing the significance of this visit following his release from jail. Additionally, he is set to conduct a mega roadshow in Amritsar, kicking off his election campaign for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls in Punjab.

Joining him in the roadshow will be Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, with the event scheduled to commence at 6 pm on Thursday. Previously, Kejriwal participated in a rally in support of Congress candidates in Delhi, as part of the AAP’s alliance with the Congress for the Lok Sabha elections.

Kejriwal expressed confidence in the alliance’s prospects in Delhi, following his campaigning efforts. His interim bail by the Supreme Court extends till June 1, with conditions barring any comments on his involvement in the Delhi liquor scam case.
