JK Police Chief: We’ll reach Pakistan-based terrorists soon

The Director-General of Police (DGP) in Jammu and Kashmir, Dilbag Singh, conveyed a stern message to terrorists operating from Pakistan, stating that the security forces are adamant about reaching and dealing decisively with them. Singh assured that initiatives are underway to target the assets of these Pakistan-based terrorists.
During a press conference in Kishtwar town, DGP Singh warned, “Currently, terrorists located across the border are keen on rekindling terrorism. They should realise that they will not find a safe haven there. We will reach them and ensure that individuals involved in such activities face stern repercussions. The assets of terrorists functioning from Pakistan are clearly targeted for swift action.”
Addressing questions regarding Jahangir Saroori, the prominent Hizbul commander in the region, Singh remarked, “Saroori is on the verge of death. If he desires, we are prepared to facilitate his burial. His allies have largely been eradicated, and the remaining ones will be dealt with imminently. We are vigilantly tracking their movements.”
It is pertinent to mention that Kishtwar Police, allied with the Army and CRPF, dismantled a hideout utilised by Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) terrorist Jahangir Saroori on September 5. Saroori, a pivotal figure in resurrecting terrorism in the Chenab valley, has been actively involved in terrorism in the Chenab region of Jammu and Kashmir for over thirty years.”
