Rajasthan is the only state in the nation with a department of “peace and non-violence,” Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said on Sunday while launching the “JITO Ahimsa Run.”
The Jain International Trade Organisation (JITO) hosted the gathering at the Mahavir Digambar Jain School in Jaipur. “The main goal of this event is to spread the message of peace and nonviolence, Rajasthan is the country’s only province with a department of peace and nonviolence.” Gehlot told the media after flagging off the run.

“Lord Mahavir’s goal was also to spread the message of peace and nonviolence,” he added.
The Jain International Trade Organization (JITO) organized the IIFL JITO Ahimsa Run, which took place in 70 places across India, to spread the message of peace, unity, and nonviolence.

Union Minister Kiren Rijiju flagged off the ‘IIFL Jito Ahimsa Run’ from Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in the national capital. It is the biggest run for the cause of peace and nonviolence.
Sangeeta Lalwani, chairperson of the JITO ladies’ wing, and others got the Guinness World Record certificate earlier on saturday in Mumbai.
The IIFL JITO Ahimsa Run received the Guinness World Records title for getting the most pledges for a peace campaign in one week. During the specified period of March 16-23, the initiative got 70,728 pledges.
