While Vipin, or Vicky, from Jamdoli in Jaipur, was only 22 years old, he became a victim of a very cold-blooded pre-planned revenge done by Anas Khan and his accomplices when Vipin was attacked and stabbed 14 times by them late on Sunday night. According to the authorities, the attack may have resulted from some long-term feud between the two men.

After the attack, Anas took a video and uploaded it to his social media accounts showing him proudly brandishing the murder weapon and taking full responsibility. But the video and an Instagram picture of him posing with the knife were deleted before it could cause public outrage.

Protests Erupt Amid Communal Underpinnings

The incident quickly transformed itself from a private grudge and into a full-blown riot as angry crowds filled the streets, clashed with law enforcement, launched stones and blocked the Jaipur Agra highway. Demands of the army included an immediate arrest of Anas, financial support and government posted jobs for Vipin’s family.

In a terrible event reported from Rajasthan’s capital, a young guy was savagely stabbed 14 times and killed in what authorities believe was a vengeance assault. The crime has sparked communal turmoil and mass protests in Jaipur.

The victim, who has been identified as 22-year-old Vipin alias Vicky, was killed in the Jamdoli area of the city by Anas Khan, allegedly over an old rivalry, PTI reported.

Police Respond with Manhunt and Arrests

Authorities have filed a murder case implicating nine individuals and detained several suspects for questioning. A special task force is actively pursuing Anas, who remains at large, while law enforcement has increased its presence in the area to restore order.

According to authorities, the two had a longstanding dispute. On Sunday night, Anas and his pals apprehended Vipin near his home. An argument broke out and Anas stabbed him before escaping, authorities said. The man was rushed to the SMS hospital shortly after the incident and died there, according to authorities.

According to the journal, police have filed a murder charge against nine people and detained four suspects for questioning. A special squad has also been formed to search down Anas Khan, who is presently on the run.

Meanwhile, protestors have refused to accept Vipin’s body for final rites, staging a sit-in outside the police station. They are calling for Khan’s quick arrest, reparations for the victim’s family and a government post for one of his relatives.
