Jain Acharya Lokesh to represent India at conference of world religious leaders

Amid the Israel and Palestine war, Ukraine and Russia conflict, and growing religious intolerance worldwide added to the climate change catastrophe, A Conference of the top world religious leaders is being hosted in Abu Dhabi on November 6 to 7, 2023, where Jain Acharya Lokesh will participate on behalf of India among the world’s top religious leaders.
Peace Ambassador, Jain Acharya Lokesh and Supreme Christian Religious Leader, Pope Francis will be participating in the event. Matters related to Climate Change and Current Global Challenges will be discussed during this Conference hosted by UN Environment and COP28.
On November 7, 2023, the concluding day of the conference, a common declaration will also be released, in which ideas for resolving this global catastrophe will be discussed.
Jain Acharya Lokeshji, who has a special identity among the world’s inter-religious leaders, will make Pope Francis aware of his concern about the growing religious intolerance in the world and the crisis arising from climate change and a concrete action plan to increase peace, goodwill and brotherhood in the world. He will also invite Pope Francis to participate in the inauguration ceremony of the World Peace Center being set up in India by Ahimsa Vishwa Bharti.
Acharya Lokesh spoke to volunteers at the Rajendra Nagar headquarters of Ahimsa Vishwa Bharti before leaving to attend the climate change summit in Abu Dhabi. “At this point, it is undeniably acknowledged by the United Nations, Parliament of World Religions, UNICEF, UNESCO, and all other international organizations that religion has the power to bring about any significant change in India,” he said. According to Acharya Lokesh, India is a faith-based nation where millions of people visit religious sites every day, such as mosques, churches, gurudwaras, and temples. If religious leaders provide guidance and the correct route, the followers will voluntarily do what the government cannot do even on spending billions of rupees. He appealed for all religious leaders to consider and implement this ideology.
