BJP Chief J P Nadda praised the proactive nature of the Narendra Modi-led government during a public meeting in Khargone, Madhya Pradesh, marking the completion of its nine-year tenure.
Nadda lauded the government’s foresight in ensuring public welfare, citing central schemes such as Ayushman Bharat and the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana as examples. These initiatives, he stated, were designed to address potential problems and provide protection for the public, particularly concerning their health and agricultural livelihoods. He highlighted PM Modi’s concern for farmers, which led to the provision of yearly assistance worth Rs 6,000 under the Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme. Nadda also credited Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan for demonstrating similar concern for farmers by announcing an equivalent annual assistance package. Prior to his address, Nadda participated in a town roadshow within the state’s Nimar region. This comes ahead of the upcoming elections to the 230-member Madhya Pradesh Assembly scheduled for later this year.
