J-K: Governor Kavinder Gupta releases book of Dr Jain, "Meaningful way of healthy life"

Srinagar (Jammu and Kashmir) [India], May 28 (ANI): Jammu and Kashmir Governor Kavinder Gupta released the book “Meaningful Way of Healthy Life”, authored by Dr Shreyansh Kumar Jain, State Yoga Commissioner and Chairman, Indian Yoga Association, at a function held in Jammu on Thursday.

Ashok Gupta, Vice President, Vichar Kranti Manch International, presented a brief description and highlighted the significance of the book written by Dr Jain. He stated that the book would prove highly beneficial for the general masses, schools, colleges, universities, and NGOs.

He added that the book has been written with the objective of promoting therapeutic yoga and explaining how several common diseases can be managed and cured through yoga and naturopathy.

Dr Shreyansh Kumar Jain recited a meaningful poem depicting the life sketch and achievements of Governor Kavinder Gupta and also emphasised the importance of the book.

Dr Jain further announced that any educational institution or NGO interested in obtaining the book would be provided copies at a highly subsidised rate. He also shared valuable health advisories during the function.

Dr Dalleep Kumar, Regional Director, Indian Institute of Mass Communication, also recommended the book for readers and appreciated Shivank Prakashan for its excellent editing and publishing efforts. On the occasion, he presented his self-written book “Bhartiya Drishti se Tithi Vritant” to Governor Kavinder Gupta.

Bindu Gupta, Lady Governor of Himachal Pradesh, was also felicitated on the occasion by Ms Shikha Jain, President of ARSH NGO, in recognition of her gracious presence and support for social and wellness-orientated initiatives.

Others who shared their views on the occasion included KS Samyal, Rakesh Verma, Narender Wadhera, Sanjay Jandial, and Shikha Jain. (ANI)
