Insulin Denied to Arvind Kejriwal: AAP’s Saurabh Bhardwaj

Minister of Delhi & spokesperson of AAP, Saurabh Bhardwaj alleged that Arvind Kejriwal is being denied insulin by the jail administration inside Tihar Jail. Thus, pushing him towards slow death.  

The minister further claimed that for 20-22 years Arvind has been suffering from diabetes. Implying that a conspiracy is being made to slowly kill the sitting CM of Delhi by not giving him insulin to control sugar. Giving the reference of blood sugar readings, he slammed BJP, Tihar administration and Delhi LG for this negligence. 

Speaking to ANI, he said, “Arvind Kejriwal has been suffering from diabetes for 20-22 years. He has been on insulin for 12 years. Once a patient goes on insulin, his sugar can be controlled only with insulin. In Delhi, every family has a diabetic patient, people know this…They are saying give me insulin, why is the jail administration not giving them insulin? Is it not that a conspiracy is being hatched to kill Arvind Kejriwal?”

The key AAP member further alleged that a video conferencing with the doctor is not being permitted. And also stated that the use of machine was allowed by the court to monitor his daily blood sugar levels. 

Lastly adding that there is a conspiracy to finish Arvind kejriwal through multiple organ damage. Further stressed, after coming out of jail, he undergoes heart, kidney and other organs. 

These remarks come days after kejriwal’s lawyer Abhishek Singhvi claimed before the court that kejriwal isn’t being given insulin since his arrest terming it shocking & alarming. 

In response ED claimed that kejriwal is consuming high on sugar foods like mangoes & sweets despite suffering from type 2 diabetes disease. To acquire bail on medical grounds.

Kejriwal denied and said he was consuming the food following the diet chart made by his doctor.
