An IndiGo flight operating from Mumbai to Muscat (flight 6E 1275) was subjected to a bomb threat, prompting immediate action by authorities, an airline spokesperson confirmed on Monday.
Following standard protocol, the aircraft was diverted to an isolated bay upon landing. Mandatory security procedures were swiftly initiated, with bomb squads and security personnel conducting thorough checks of the plane and passengers to ensure their safety.
“All necessary protocols were followed, and the safety of passengers and crew remains the highest priority,” said the IndiGo spokesperson.
Further updates are awaited as investigations continue.
