IndiGo Flight from Mumbai to Doha Canceled; Passengers Offered Assistance

IndiGo flight 6E 1303, scheduled to travel from Mumbai to Doha on Sunday, has been canceled, according to an IndiGo spokesperson. The cancellation follows an earlier delay due to technical issues, which were exacerbated by extended procedural delays.

The airline has issued an apology and is offering affected passengers hotel accommodations and rebooking services to their final destinations. IndiGo’s statement clarified that while the flight initially faced delays due to technical reasons, the extended time lag ultimately led to the decision to cancel the flight. Passengers received refreshments and necessary assistance at the airport.

In a separate incident on September 7, IndiGo also apologized for problems experienced on flight 6E 2235 from Delhi to Varanasi. Passengers faced discomfort due to a malfunction in the aircraft’s air conditioning system, which led to a rise in cabin temperature and caused panic among some passengers. The airline responded by adjusting the temperature and providing assistance to those affected. Despite the discomfort, IndiGo emphasized that the air conditioning system was functioning properly and the temperature fluctuation was addressed as quickly as possible.
