Jammu, Sept 09: In a significant operation, the Indian Army successfully foiled an infiltration attempt along the Line of Control (LoC) in the Lam area of Nowshera, Jammu and Kashmir, killing two terrorists. The operation was launched during the intervening night of Sunday and Monday, following intelligence inputs and information from the Jammu and Kashmir Police (JKP) about a potential breach.
The operation led to the recovery of a substantial cache of war-like stores, highlighting the serious threat posed by the infiltrators. “Two terrorists have been neutralized, and a large quantity of war-like stores, including two AK-47 rifles and one pistol, have been recovered. The search operation is ongoing,” the Indian Army announced in a post on X (formerly Twitter).
