In the crowded vocabulary of innovation, “end-to-end” is often a promise. At the India AI Impact Summit this week, it arrived as a working system. Skye Air Mobility, partnering with Arrive AI and Ottonomy, unveiled what it describes as the world’s first fully autonomous commerce delivery chain — a continuous journey from aerial dispatch to doorstep arrival, without human touchpoints in between.
The architecture is layered but fluid. Skye Air’s delivery drones carry packages across urban airspace, transferring them at Arrive AI’s smart Arrive Points, where Ottonomy’s ground robots assume the final metres — corridors, elevators, thresholds. The effect is choreography rather than logistics: sky, node, surface.
Skye Air enters this collaboration with scale already behind it — 3.6 million deliveries completed over two years. Just as telling is the environmental arithmetic: over 1,000 tonnes of CO₂ emissions avoided by replacing road-bound courier traffic with electric aerial routes. In dense cities where congestion is constant and last-mile friction costly, the shift is both ecological and economic.
At the centre of the system is Skye UTM, the company’s AI-driven aerial traffic management platform. Real-time airspace awareness, collision avoidance, dynamic routing and fleet control allow multiple drones to move through congested urban corridors with regulated precision — a prerequisite for commercial drone logistics at scale.
“Completing 3.6 million deliveries while saving 1,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions demonstrates that drone delivery is not just a concept—it’s a proven, scalable reality. Our partnership with Arrive AI and Ottonomy takes this to the next level, creating the world’s first truly end-to-end autonomous delivery system. With Skye UTM managing the aerial traffic and our 10kg payload drones handling the heavy lifting, we’re ready to transform commerce logistics in India and beyond.”
Ankit Kumar, Founder and CEO of Skye Air Mobility told the The Daily Guardian
“Arrive Points provide the critical infrastructure bridge that enables seamless handoffs between Skye Air’s drones and ground delivery systems.
