While Sunday saw mostly dry conditions across Delhi-NCR, scattered showers did occur. The Ridge recorded 5.7 mm rainfall, Mayur Vihar received 16 mm, and Pitampura logged 1.5 mm.
At the same time, life remains disrupted near the Yamuna, where the water level stood at 205.56 metres, just below the 206-metre evacuation mark. Families displaced by the floods continue to live in makeshift tents near Shastri Park Metro, struggling with damp bedding, minimal belongings, and improvised shelter.
“This is all that is left,” said Kamlawati, a flood-hit resident, pointing to a small polythene bag inside her tent.
Gujarat coasts & Arabian Sea: IMD warns of squally conditions, with winds at 45–55 kmph, gusting up to 65 kmph. Fishermen are advised against venturing into rough seas.
