Himani Narwal’s family is demanding the death penalty for the accused. So far, police have arrested one suspect in the case. Her mother, Savita, strongly believes the attacker was someone known to them. She told ANI, “I am sure the accused is a known person, either from the party, her college, or our relatives. Only someone close could enter our home… I believe she protested against something wrong, which led to this.”

Moreover, she criticized the authorities for their silence. “She never tolerated anything wrong… I want the death penalty for the accused… No one from the government has contacted us so far,” she added.

Police Find Body in Suitcase

On March 1, police discovered Himani’s body inside a suitcase near Sampla bus stand on the Rohtak-Delhi highway. According to Sampla police station SHO Bijendra Singh, the evidence clearly pointed to murder. Furthermore, he assured that a thorough investigation was underway.

Mother Blames Politics

Savita alleged that political involvement played a role in her daughter’s death. “The election and the party took my daughter’s life. Because of this, she made enemies. The culprits could be from the party or even her friends,” she claimed.

Additionally, she pointed out that her daughter’s political associations might have made her a target. “She was going with Rahul Gandhi and was close to the Hooda family. People had a problem with this and were jealous,” she explained.

Family Demands Answers

Meanwhile, Himani’s brother, Jatin, confirmed that one arrest had been made. “One accused has been arrested. Today, we will cremate her. Many rumors are spreading… We will get justice. However, we still don’t know who the accused is. The police haven’t given us any details. We demand the death penalty,” he stated.

At the same time, her uncle emphasized that they would not proceed with the cremation until the accused’s identity was revealed. “Whoever the accused is, we want justice. Until their identity is made public, we will not cremate her. So far, the police have not contacted us,” he said.

As the investigation continues, the family remains firm in their fight for justice.
