Heroic Soldier Vivek Deshwal Falls With Six Bullets To The Head In Kashmir

Vivek Deshwal, a soldier from Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh, sacrificed his life in a recent terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir. Deshwal took six bullets to the head, making the ultimate sacrifice in the ongoing conflict in the region. His bravery underscores the risks that Indian security forces continue to face in Kashmir.

Lashkar-e-Taiba Commander Eliminated in Srinagar

In a simultaneous operation, security forces achieved a major success with the elimination of Usman, a high-ranking Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) commander. The encounter took place in the Khanyar area of Srinagar, with IGP for the Kashmir Zone, Vidhi Kumar Birdi, confirming Usman’s involvement in the murder of Inspector Masroor in 2023.

“The operation has now concluded,” Birdi told ANI, highlighting that four security personnel were injured in the intense gunfight that erupted early Saturday morning. Usman, a confirmed foreign operative, was instrumental in LeT’s terror activities in the region.

Anti-Terror Success in Anantnag: Two Terrorists Neutralized

In a third operation, forces neutralized two terrorists in Anantnag’s Halkan Gali area. Acting on specific intelligence, a joint team of the Indian Army, Jammu and Kashmir Police, and CRPF intercepted suspicious movement. Upon being challenged, the terrorists responded with heavy gunfire.

IGP VK Birdi stated, “The operation is nearing completion, marking a significant achievement for our forces.” The Indian Army’s Chinar Corps posted on X: “Our troops retaliated effectively, eliminating two terrorists. The operation remains ongoing.”

The combined efforts across Jammu and Kashmir reflect the resilience of India’s security forces in the face of escalating threats. The sacrifices of soldiers like Vivek Deshwal and the continued operations in volatile areas highlight the enduring dedication to securing the region.
