Hasty decision, will be thrown out from BJP like curry leaves, says Anil Antony’s brother

A day after Anil Antony turned saffron and snapped all ties with the Congress, his younger brother Ajith categorically stated on Friday that his brother’s decision was impetuous because the BJP won’t take time in throwing him out like “curry leaves” after using him for the time being.

Speaking with media persons, Ajith Antony said that his brother did not reveal anything to the family members regarding his decision. Everyone became shocked on Thursday when his name was flashed on the news channels about the development.

He further added that his father became dejected after Anil Antony joined the BJP at their headquarters in the national capital.

Ajith Antony went on to say that my father was seen sitting in the corner of the house. “I have never seen him so depressed in my life.” “He kept his emotion under control and did not shed a tear, that’s all,” he said.

He said that his brother received several abusive calls from several unknown party workers, which really hurt him. This may be his reason to join the saffron party.

“I thought he would stay away from the (Congress) party out of anger, but I never ever thought that he would go to the BJP.” “The decision was a totally unexpected one,” Anil’s younger brother said.

Anil Antony on Thursday in the presence of Union ministers Piyush Goyal and V Muraleedharan joined the BJP in New Delhi.

This decision really hurt his father, AK Antony, who later said in Kerala that his decision was a ‘wrong’ one.
