The fourth edition of the government’s Har Ghar Tiranga campaign was rolled out by the Ministry of Culture to celebrate India’s 79th Independence Day on August 15, 2025. The campaign urges people to fly the national flag and report their participation via a government portal.
Har Ghar Tiranga campaign under the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav is between August 2 and August 15. Participants receive a digital certificate and an optional e-card upon successful completion of the online process.
Step 1: Hoist the Flag
Hoist the Flag: the National Flag in your house, office, institute, or at any convenient location on Independence Day.
Step 2: Take and Upload a Selfie
Take a selfie or picture with the flag and post on the official portal and post on their website https://harghartiranga.com/selfie.
Step 3: Register on the Portal
Get registered by providing your name and mobile number when asked. Fill in the form and photo.
Step 4: Download Your Certificate
Download your certificate after registering and posting a photo/selfie.

Har Ghar Tiranga Digital Certificate
The government also provides a digital certificate named Har Ghar Tiranga certificate to acknowledge your contribution towards the campaign. Once the submission is finished, you will have a feature to “Download Certificate”. Download the PDF and use it for yourself and share with others on social media.
Your deadline to download and submit your certificate is August 15.
Har Ghar Tiranga E-Card
They also provide a “Har Ghar Tiranga” e-card. It is a personalized digital card or badge that celebrates your participation in the campaign.
For receiving “Har Ghar Tiranga” e-card, you need to fill out your “register here” form and upload your selfie and then the site might offer you a possibility to design an e-card or badge. You can download or share the e-card on your social media platforms and WhatsApp groups.
