Hajj Qurrah 2026: How to Check Results, Step-by-Step Guide & Official Link

The Haj Committee of India conducted the Hajj 2026 Qurrah (Hajj 1447H Qurrah) on Wednesday, August 13, 2025. The centralised Random Digital Selection process began at 11:30 AM in the Committee Room, Haj House, Mumbai. The event was live-streamed on the official website, hajcommittee.gov.in.

In its notification, the Committee confirmed, "Qurrah - Digital Randomized Selection (DRS), for selection of pilgrims for Haj 2026 will be conducted on 13th August, 2025 at 11:30 AM in the Committee Room, Haj Committee of India, Hajj House in Mumbai."

Purpose of the Hajj Qurrah

To choose the final list of pilgrims qualified to performs the Hajj in Makkah, the Hajj Qurrah is held. Depending on the number of Muslims in each nation, Saudi Arabia allots a set number of pilgrims to each. India has been given 175,025 ilgrims places for the 2026 hajj.

Of this quota, 30% is reserved for Private Tour Operators (PTOs) and Hajj Group Organisers (HGOs).

Seats are also kept for Khuddam (Khadim ul Hujjaj), officers, and staff assisting the Indian Embassy in Jeddah.

This year, for the first time, 10,000 seats are reserved for short-duration Hajj.

How to Check Hajj 2026 Qurrah Results

Pilgrims from all Indian states, including Maharashtra, Kerala, Karnataka, Delhi, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Uttar Pradesh, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, and Odisha, can check their status online.

Steps to check the selection list:

  • Visit hajcommittee.gov.in.
  • Click on the link titled "Provisional Selection List".
  • Select your state.
  • Download the PDF and search for your name.

The waiting list is also available state-wise. Applicants must click their state name to check if they are on the waiting list. The Committee has confirmed that all selected and waitlisted pilgrims will also receive SMS notifications.

Advance Hajj Payment Details

The Haj Committee of India has instructed all provisionally selected pilgrims to pay the advance Hajj amount of ₹1,52,300 by August 20, 2025.

The Committee stated, "All provisionally selected pilgrims will be required to pay the advance Haj amount of Rs. 1,52,300/- latest by August 20, 2025 if their name is in the list of pilgrims released after the Qurrah."

Failure to pay within the deadline may lead to cancellation of the application. The Ministry of Minority Affairs has set strict refund rules for cancellations.

Qurbani (Adahi) Guidelines

The Haj Committee has issued an advisory for Qurbani (Adahi). It recommends that pilgrims only use facilities provided through authorised Saudi entities.

"Adahi (Qurbani) is permitted only through entities authorised by KSA for the same. Pilgrims should not fall prey to fraudsters in the name of Qurbani."

The Committee will arrange Adahi for those covers (groups) who opt for it, and all members of a cover must decide together. Once selected, this option cannot be cancelled. The Committee will issue a guide with details on how the Adahi coupon looks, its colour, and its features.

Hajj 2026 Flight Schedule and Embarkation Points

The flight schedule for Hajj 2026 has not been released yet. However, the Committee has confirmed that there will be 18 embarkation points across India.

Expected Hajj 2026 Dates

The likely date for Hajj 2026 is May 24–29, 2026. The exact date will be confirmed after the moon sighting for Dhul Hijjah 1447 AH in Saudi Arabia.

The Hajj 2026 Qurrah marks the first step for thousands of Indian Muslims in fulfilling their spiritual journey to Makkah. Pilgrims are now advised to complete their payments on time, follow official guidelines, and prepare for the sacred journey.
