Gujarat Polls: PM Modi roadshow awaited in Valsad

The news of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s roadshow in their district on Saturday electrified the residents of Valsad district in Gujarat state, which is headed for elections.

Gujarat’s Vapi city residents are eager to welcome PM Modi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold a roadshow in the Gujarati city of Vapi in the Valsad district in an effort to repeat the “Double Engine” government there as the state’s assembly election draws nearer.

PM Modi will also address the rally.

“I am a big fan of Narendra Modi since childhood, and I have always seen him on TV. Today I am getting a chance to see him for the first time; that’s why I have come here. I posed as Mother India today,” a girl student, who came to watch the roadshow said.

Along with the Superintendent of Police (SP) and the roadshow’s organizer, Vapi Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) BN Dave examined the Prime Minister’s rally’s route.

“We are inspecting the route and all other arrangements for the rally of the Prime Minister. We are checking whatever preparations have been made by the administration and the organizer.
The police are also ready accordingly. As a precautionary measure, we have barricaded the area because it is a roadshow and a large number of people are expected to participate. We will only allow people after the security check. They all be allowed to be in one place,” the Vapi DSP said.

He added that the mood had changed to one of celebration, and that everyone was eager to welcome PM Modi.

All the preparations have been finished, according to a local and a member of the organising team.

“We are ready with all the preparations for welcoming PM Modi. We have put up flags along the route of the roadshow, and people will shower him with flower petals. This is a good opportunity for us that we are preparing for PM Modi, and we wholeheartedly welcome him,” said Manish Jangir.
Nilesh Gabani, another local, said that the people here want the prime minister to stay and meet them.
“Full preparation is going on.” We want PM Modi to stay here and come to meet us. All the people who will welcome PM Modi will come in traditional attire, and we are warmly welcoming him. “We have full hope that PM Modi will stop here to meet us,” said Gabani.

The Prime Minister is scheduled to take part in at least eight programmes from Saurashtra to Surat before the Assembly elections.

From November 20 to November 22, the Prime Minister is slated to hold rallies in Saurashtra, a region of Gujarat.

The source estimated that more than 1.5 lakh people would attend these rallies.

On November 20, the Prime Minister will hold three rallies in Saurashtra; the following days, he will hold two rallies in South Gujarat and Saurashtra and two in Saurashtra.

He is scheduled to speak at four rallies in the Saurashtra region on November 20 after visiting the Somnath Temple. Veraval, Dhorarji, Amreli, and Botad have been chosen as the final locations.

In these Saurashtra assembly districts, the BJP, incidentally, failed to win a single seat in the most recent general elections. Despite winning the state elections, the BJP was unable to pierce this Congress-voting stronghold.

Three rallies will be held by PM Modi on Day 3 at Surendranagar, Bharuch, and Navsari.

Former Congressman Ahmed Patel once represented Bharuch, but current BJP state president CR Patil, who is from Navsari, has been winning this Lok Sabha seat with enormous margins.

On November 21, the same day that PM Modi is anticipated to be in Navsari, Congress member of the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi is additionally anticipated to travel there.
