Police in Muradabad busted a prostitution racket disguised as a cowshed. Pinki and aides lured vulnerable girls, confined them, tortured them, and forced them into prostitution.
A prostitution racket in Uttar Pradesh's Muradabad city was busted by the police. A woman named Pinki had been running a brothel under the disguise of a 'Gaushala' in Majhola's Kashiram Nagar. The police rescued three girls from the site who were reportedly kept there forcibly by Pinki and her associates and were forced into prostitution.
Pinki used to capture vulnerable girls from the railway station with the help of her aide, Sachin. The young girls were mostly helpless or runaways. They were brought to the site and confined in it. Pinki pretended that the girls were brought to work at the cowshed during the day; however, as soon as the night fell, the girls were forced into prostitution with customers arriving one after the other at the brothel.

The rescued victims described the horrors of the brothel. Joya from Up's Amroha district shared that Pinki kept her locked in her house for over a year, as reported by Amar Ujala. A girl from Bihar was trapped for two months, and a third was kept locked up for three months.
The girls were informed that they would be brutally tortured if they called for help or talked about going outside. Pinki would play loud music to cover their cries as she mercilessly beat them up. They were not even allowed to speak to one another.

A victim narrated her ordeal to the lady police on Thursday. She said that she once burned a roti while cooking, which angered Pinki and a man named Vijay Thakur. Pinki poured oil over her hand and set it on fire. She was badly injured and brutally beaten. The torture didn't end there. Sachin, Vijay, and a third man named Avneesh sexually assaulted her till late at night repeatedly. Avneesh allegedly made her consume alcohol and then sexually assaulted her.
She was forced to work the chores at the house during the day and would face sexual assaults during the night.
Pinki, Sachin and others involved in the racket are now detained by the police. The officials have reported the statement of the girls and are carrying out the investigation.
