Four terrorist including top HM commander Killed in Kulgam Gunfight, Operation Ongoing: Top Police Official

Srinagar, July 06: Four terrorist including a top Hizbul mujahideen terrorist have been killed in an ongoing gunfight in the Chinnigam area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Saturday.

A top police official informed The Daily Guardian that the intense gunbattle is still underway, and the identification of the slain militants will only be possible once the operation concludes.

Encounter started in the afternoon between militants and security forces in Chinnigam following a specific intelligence input received by the security forces.

In a separate incident in Kulgam’s Mudergham area, an army soldier was killed during the initial exchange of fire.

There is no information regarding terrorist killed in this encounter.
