Former Chandigarh Mayor Moudgil named President of brahmin Mahasabha Punjab

All India Brahmin Mahasabha has appointed former Mayor of Chandigarh, Punjab University Senate member and member of Chandigarh Administrator’s Advisory Committee Devesh Moudgil as Punjab State President to expand the organization in Punjab and work in the interest of Brahmin community. Devesh Moudgil was the Mayor of Chandigarh in the year 2018, Senior Deputy Mayor in 2016 and Deputy Mayor in 2014.
On this occasion, the Principal General Secretary and In-charge of North India, All India Brahmin Mahasabha, Advocate Rakesh Sharma said that in view of Devesh Moudgil’s dedication and devotion towards the Brahmin community, the All India Brahmin Mahasabha (Registered) has nominated him as the State President of Punjab Province. Advocate Rakesh Sharma said that it is hoped that Mr. Moudgil will work selflessly as per the directions of National President Pandit Madan Gopal Sharma, creating trust in the Brahmin community and the organization with body, mind and money.
Principal General Secretary Advocate Rakesh Sharma said that Devesh Moudgil is a young, hardworking and honest social worker under whose leadership All India Brahmin Mahasabha will work in the interest and overall interest of Brahmin community in Punjab.

In recognition of his social service, Nehru Yuva Kendra, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India awarded Moudgil the National Youth Award in 2006 and the Chandigarh Administration also honoured Moudgil with the Commendation Award for his social service in 2012.
