Five Soldiers, Including JCO, Killed in Tank Accident Near LAC in Leh

In a tragic incident, five soldiers, including a Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO), were killed in a tank accident near Mandir Morh, close to the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in Leh district of Kargil.

The accident occurred around 1: 30 a.m., and official sources have confirmed that the bodies of all the soldiers have been recovered. Authorities have initiated an investigation to determine the cause of the incident. Further details are awaited as the situation unfolds.

This loss highlights the ongoing challenges faced by military personnel serving in high-risk areas. The defense community mourns the sacrifice of these brave soldiers.
