Doda Terror Attack : Firing Between Security Forces and Terrorists Ceases

The exchange of fire between security forces and terrorists ceased in the Kastigarh area of Doda district in Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday. Further information is yet to be disclosed.

Earlier in the day, an encounter erupted between security forces and terrorists in the Kastigarh area of Doda. This incident follows closely on the heels of a recent encounter in Doda, where four army soldiers, including an officer, lost their lives while combating terrorists.

The clash on Monday evening took place in the Desa Forest area of Doda, leading to the deaths of Captain Brijesh Thapa, Naik D Rajesh, Sepoy Bijendra, and Sepoy Ajay.

These events are part of a series of recent terror attacks in the Jammu region, including an assault on an army convoy in Kathua and other encounters in Doda and Udhampur.
