Fatal Porsche Crash: Pune Police Use Army Forensic Expert for Detailed Analysis

In a Significant Development in the ongoing investigation of the fatal Porsche Crash accident, the Pune police have completed a comprehensive crash impact analysis report. This report, prepared with the expertise of a forensic specialist from the Army, is pivotal in correlating the vehicle’s impact with the injuries sustained by the victims. The tragic incident, which occurred on May 19 in the Kalyani Nagar area of Pune, claimed the lives of Anish Awadhiya and Ashwini Koshta, both IT professionals. The Porsche, allegedly driven by a juvenile under the influence of alcohol, collided with their bike, resulting in their immediate demise.

A senior officer from the crime branch elaborated on the findings: “We have obtained the report of Porsche Crash impact analysis of the accident. The analysis has provided valuable insights into the positioning of the vehicles at the time of impact and the injuries sustained by the deceased. The report will be instrumental in understanding the sequence of events leading to the tragic accident.”

Previously, the police had considered using advanced AI-based tools for a digital reconstruction of the accident scene. This initiative aimed to create a detailed visual representation of the incident, thereby aiding in evidence analysis and offering a clearer perspective of the moments prior the crash.

Currently, the juvenile driver is held in an observation home, while his parents are in police custody, facing allegations related to tampering with the driver’s blood samples. The Pune District Court had earlier remanded the juvenile’s father and grandfather to police custody until May 31, intensifying the legal proceedings surrounding the case.
