Pune Electricity Pole Damage Causes Water Supply Disruption

A damaged power pole in Pune has caused a disruption in electricity supply to the Jackwell station in Pune, leading to water supply interruptions in various areas. The incident occurred at approximately 11:15 am, resulting in a halt to water distribution in Shivajinagar, Chatushrungi, Baner, and other regions. Repair work has been initiated by the Municipal Corporation to fix the damaged power pole.

However, until the repairs are completed, residents in several areas including Kothrud, Warje Malwadi, Balewadi, Pashan, Karve Road, Aundh, and others may experience water shortages or low water pressure. This disruption also affects areas under the Parbati and Lashkar Water Purification Centres, prompting authorities to advise residents to conserve water and prepare for potential prolonged shortages. Municipal efforts are underway to restore normal water distribution as soon as possible.
