  • Indira Gandhi National Old Age Pension Scheme (IGNOAPS): For individuals aged 60+ belonging to the Below Poverty Line (BPL) category.
  • Indira Gandhi National Widow Pension Scheme (IGNWPS): For widows between 40–59 years belonging to BPL families.
  • Bihar State Disability Pension Scheme: For individuals with 40% or more disability; no restriction on income.
  • Mukhyamantri Vridhjan Pension Yojana: Offers ₹400 to ₹500 monthly for people aged 60 years and above who are not covered by any other pension scheme.

1. Go to the official website of eLabharthi Bihar.

2. Click on “Beneficiary/Payment Status.”

3. Provide details like Beneficiary ID, Aadhaar, or bank account number.

4. Choose the financial year and see current payment information.

5. Beneficiaries may also download or take a printout of the status report.

Mobile access can be facilitated by downloading the eLabharthi Bihar app through the portal or UMANG platform.

eLabharthi Bihar: Eligibility and Documentation

Eligibility varies with the pension or scheme being applied for. General requirements are:

  • Permanent residence in Bihar.
  • Being a member of a BPL family.
  • Age of 60 years and above (for old-age pension).
  • Widowhood or disability (as the case may be).
  • Aadhaar card, bank account, and income certificate for verification.
