ED Approaches Delhi High Court For Arvind Kejriwal’s Judicial Extension

The Enforcement Directorate approaches Delhi’s Rouse Avenue court for Arvind Kejriwal’s judicial extension in relation to Delhi’s excise policy on Monday.

The investigative agency further informed the court, that Arvind Kejriwal is on interim bail, and will likely surrender on June 2.

So far, the court has kept the application pending, which will be likely addressed on the same date.

This significant development coincides with a time, when supreme court has already reserved its verdict on Kejriwal’s plea. Which challenge his arrest by ED in connection to this case.

Later on, Friday, ED in its latest chargesheet has called Kejriwal and Aam Aadmi party as accused in the excise policy case. As per the probe agency, it is filed on the basis of irrefutable evidence’ which proves, that is ”key conspirator” in the money laundering case.

Meanwhile, Delhi’s chief minister Arvind Kejriwal has been granted interim bail till June 1st in money laundering case in connection with Delhi’s excise policy case. But, he has been prohibited to not visit chief minister’s office and Delhi secretariat
