Jaishankar took to X (formerly Twitter) to share insights from their meeting, stating, “A great meeting with NSA @JakeSullivan46. As always, a productive conversation on bilateral cooperation and good insights into global politics.”

Meetings with US Officials

During his visit to Washington, Jaishankar also met with Phil Gordon, Assistant to the US President and National Security Advisor to the Vice President. He expressed appreciation for their conversation regarding bilateral ties and current global developments. Gordon remarked on the significant progress made in the US-India relationship, particularly in defense and technology cooperation, and they discussed regional security issues affecting the Indo-Pacific, Middle East, and Europe.
