DLSA Panchkula promotes tree planting among orphans

In an effort to promote environmental awareness, Chief Judicial Magistrate-cum-Secretary of the District Legal Services Authority, Ajay Kumar Ghanghas, organized a tree plantation drive at Bal Niketan, Sector 2, and ShishuGreh, Sector 15, here.
At Bal Niketan,Ghanghas invited two orphans, Sahil and Satyam, to plant a sapling as part of the initiative. While addressing those present, he emphasized the crucial role trees play in controlling the environment and regulating the climate. “Life is impossible without trees. They provide oxygen, wood, fruits, and have numerous other benefits. Hence, it is our responsibility to plant and nurture as many trees as possible,” said Ghanghas.
He further urged individuals to mark special occasions, such as birthdays, by planting trees and taking care of them until they are fully grown.
