Disha Salian Death Case: Mumbai Police Summons BJP’s Nitesh Rane

The Mumbai Police has issued a notice to Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA Nitesh Rane, requiring him to appear for questioning on Friday in connection with the Disha Salian death case. Disha Salian, who was the ex-manager of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput, was found dead in 2020. Rane has previously claimed that Salian was murdered.

Rane is expected to appear at Malvani Police Station, where he will be questioned about his claims and asked to provide any evidence he might have. Rane has stated that he has always believed the case to be a murder and is prepared to cooperate with the Mumbai Police. He also mentioned that the previous Maharashtra Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government attempted to cover up the case to protect Aditya Thackeray and his associates.

Disha Salian’s death on June 8, 2020, occurred just days before Sushant Singh Rajput was found hanging in his apartment in Bandra, Mumbai. The Mumbai Police had registered the case as an accidental death but later formed a three-member Special Investigation Team (SIT) to probe the matter further.

Rane expressed his readiness to share any information he has with the police and stated his willingness to fully cooperate with the ongoing investigation.
