Samajwadi Party leader Dimple Yadav is all set to contest the elections from the Mainpuri Lok Sabha constituency in Uttar Pradesh and on Monday Dimple will file her nomination.
Meanwhile, to carry the legacy of her father-in-law Mulayam Singh Yadav constituency SP chief Akhilesh Yadav’s wife Dimple Yadav will fight from Mainpuri.
Following the death of Samajwadi Party founder Mulayam Singh Yadav, the Mainpuri seat is vacant since 10 October and Samajwadi Party stronghold.
Before her nomination, various party workers and leaders visited Akhilesh Yadav’s Safai residence in Uttar Pradesh.
Moreover, while filing the nomination of Dimple Yadav SP chief Akhilesh Yadav, and party veteran Ram Gopal other leaders Dharmendra Yadav and Tej Pratap Yadav will be present.
Alok Shakya informed the Mainpuri party office Yadav family will first arrive and then for nomination they will reach the Collectorate office.
However, on 5 December the polling for the bypoll will take place and on 8 December the counting of votes will take place.
Furthermore, 17 November is the last date for filing the nominations and till 21 November candidates will be able to withdraw their candidature.
