Descendant of Lord Rama, Diya Kumari Reaches Ram Temple

On Monday, Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari arrived at the Shri Ram Janmnabhoomi Temple in Ayodhya to partake in the grand ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony of Ram Lalla. Performing the auspicious puja, she extended heartfelt congratulations on the consecration of the Ram idol in Ayodhya. Proudly asserting her lineage as a descendant of Lord Rama, Diya Kumari emphasized the undeniable presence of Lord Rama in Ayodhya.

Addressing inquiries about the historical significance of Lord Rama, she presented evidence supporting the temple’s existence and the presence of Lord Rama in Ayodhya. Reflecting on the imminent realization of the dream of the Ram Mandir after years, Diya Kumari expressed astonishment, stating, “Never did I imagine that Ayodhya would witness the grandeur of Lord Rama once again.” She extended her wishes to the nation and thanked Prime Minister Modi for his efforts in transforming this vision into reality.

In a musical tribute ahead of the Pran Pratishtha ceremony, singers Shankar Mahadevan and Sonu Nigam performed Ram Bhajan at Shri Ram Janmaboomi Temple in Ayodhya. Sonu Nigam, in his soulful voice, sang ‘Ram Siya Ram.’ Additionally, singer Anuradha Paudwal and her daughter Kavita Paudwal also contributed with a performance of Ram Bhajan.

The ceremony has drawn special guests from various fields, including the entertainment industry, cricket, saint society, politics, art, literature, and culture. Notable Bollywood celebrities present at the event include Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Ayushmann Khurrana, Anupam Kher, Kangana Ranaut, Tiger Shroff, and Asha Bhosle, among others.

The Pran Prathistha ceremony is set to take place in Ayodhya amid tight security, witnessing the historic ritual of Ram Lalla’s consecration in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, saints, and distinguished guests.
