According to police, an MBA student committed suicide on the night of Saturday and Sunday in the Jamia Nagar area of South East Delhi.
According to police, no suicide note was recovered from the student, and the exact reason for the student’s extreme action is unknown. On the intervening night of Saturday-Sunday, police received information about the incident, and a police team went to the scene, recovered the body, and sent it for a post-mortem.
The deceased was identified as Abduddin (25) and was a second-year MBA student who took the extreme step using a plastic rope.
The cause of the incident is being investigated by police. In a similar incident, a Delhi Police head constable allegedly shot himself inside a PCR van in the Civil Lines area during the early hours of Saturday.
The deceased head constable has been identified by police as Imran Mohammed. The incident occurred around 6 a.m. on Bela Road, near the Chandgi Ram Akhara.
According to police, “the deceased shot himself when the PCR driver (his colleague) CT Atul Bhati went for nature’s call.”
